Intake Air Temperature Sensor

1. Disconnect the volume air flow sensor connectors.

2. Measure resistance between terminals No. 5 and No. 6.

°0C (°32F) 6.0 K Ohms
2°20C (°68F) 2.7 K Ohms
8°80C (°176F) 0.4 K Ohms

3. Measure resistance while heating the sensor using a hair drier.

The higher the temperature, the smaller the resistance.

4. If resistance does not decrease as heat increases or the resistance remains unchanged, replace the volume air flow sensor assembly.
