Cruise Control Servo Cable: Adjustments

1. Turn all accessories off, warm up engine until specified idling speed is reached, then turn engine off.
2. Remove air cleaner, then depress accelerator pedal completely, ensuring throttle valve operates smoothly from full close to full open.
3. Remove actuator cover.
4. Adjust cable B as follows:

a. Connect cable B to the actuator shown in Fig. 13.

b. Loosen adjusting bolts. Slide the outer cable so that cable deflection measures 0.04-0.08 inch, Fig. 14. Ensure throttle link contacts the stopper.
5. Adjust cable A as follows:

a. Connect cable A to the dimensions shown in Fig. 15.

b. Adjust cable A deflection at point G to 0-0.04 inch, Fig. 16.
c. Ensure throttle link moves, when the actuator link is turned 0.04-0.08 inch, then check for free movement when accelerator pedal is fully opened and closed.
d. Install actuator cover.
