Fail-Safe/Backup Functions

OPERATION
When the main sensor malfunctions are detected by the on-board diagnostics, the vehicle is controlled by means of the pre-set control logic to maintain safe conditions for driving. While in this "limp-in" mode, the Check Engine/Malfunction Indicator Light will be illuminated.
