Ignition Cable: Testing and Inspection
Disconnect each of the spark plug cables one at a time while the engine is idling to check whether the engine's running performance changes or not.
CAUTION: Wear rubber gloves while doing so.

Check the cable boots and coating for cracks

Measure resistance
Limit: max. 22 k Ohms
