>>A<< CANCELLING THE HBB BUZZER OPERATION CHECK MODE (WHEN REPLACING THE ABS-ECU)
If the ignition switch is turned to the "ON" position after replacing the ABS-ECU, the HBB buzzer will sound for approximately five seconds. This is because the ABS-ECU is at the HBB buzzer operation check mode (for factory production line). To stop the tone alarm, carry out one of the following procedures.
- Erase HBB diagnostic trouble codes by using scan tool MB991502 or special tool MB991529.
- Drive the vehicle at 40 km/h (25 mph) or more.
