REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY KEYFOB REPLACEMENT

SERVICE INFORMATION





The remote piece of a Remote Keyless Entry System (RKES) keyfob is now available separately as a service part for the Applied Vehicles.

If the remote piece needs to be replaced for any reason:

^ Replace only the remote piece and the screw with the ones listed in the Parts Information section.

NOTE:
Do not replace the entire RKES keyfob if only the remote piece is needed.

To Install the New Remote Piece:





1. Remove the screw on the back of the remote piece that is being replaced.





2. Pull apart the key piece and remote piece.

3. Insert the key piece into the new remote piece.

4. Attach the new screw.
