Subject: PRODUCT CAMPAIGN 83-C-07A ENGINE COOLING FAN RELAY REPLACEMENT


Models Affected: 1982-83 "A-X" MODELS WITH 2.5L ENGINES (RPO LR8) AND AIR CONDITIONING (RPO C60)

CONDITION

Some late 1982 and all 1983 "A" and "X" models equipped with 2.5 liter engines and air conditioners were assembled with engine cooling fan relays which could cause the engine cooling fan and air conditioning system to be inoperative..

DEALER ACTION

To prevent the possibility of this occurring, dealers are to replace the cooling fan relays on all involved vehicles.
