Wiper Switch: Service and Repair


PARISIENNE & SAFARI
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Pull headlight switch knob to ON position.
3. Reach up under instrument panel and depress headlight switch shaft release button, then pull out switch shaft and knob assembly.
4. Remove four screws securing control shroud to instrument panel. When removing control shroud to instrument panel screws, one screw is hidden above cigar lighter knob while another is hidden above headlamp switch shaft location.
5. Remove control shroud, then two remaining screws.
6. Remove wiper switch electrical connector, then light bulb and socket from rear of switch.
7. Remove switch.
8. Reverse procedure to install.
