Windshield Washer - Delayed Response Time

Subject: WINDSHIELD WASHER DELAY - 1984 6000 VEHICLES
The washer system response time on permanent magnet type wipers used on 1984 6000 vehicles may be reduced by installing a check valve, Part Number 25504746 in the fluid pick-up hose. To install the check valve cut the pick-up hose off 2" from the washer pump and insert the valve. Be sure to observe the direction of flow through the valve. The valve will prevent fluid drain back and reduce the washer response time.
