Operation CHARM: Car repair manuals for everyone.
Manuals through 2025 now available!

Our trusted friends have launched a new website named LEMON, which has newer manuals. It also contains all the CHARM manuals.

LEMON is the spiritual successor to CHARM, I recommend you try it!

Rear Wheel Alignment

CAMBER ADJUSTMENT
1. Loosen both strut-to-knuckle attaching bolts sufficiently to allow movement between strut and knuckle.
2. Move top of tire inboard or outboard until camber is within specifications, then torque both strut-to-knuckle bolts to 140 ft. lbs. If complete torque cannot be applied to bolts due to inaccessibility, tighten bolts just enough to hold camber position, then remove wheel and wire and apply final torque.

1988
1. Loosen adjuster tube clamps.
2. rotate adjuster tube to change toe-in angle.
3. Torque clamps to 47 ft. lbs.
