1985 FIERO WITH 2.8L-PFI V6 ENGINE (VIN CODE 9)
Some technicians may be experiencing difficulty in using the OTC Monitor 85 Scan Tool model no. 3485* on Fieros with 2.8L - PFI V6 Engines (VIN Code 9). To properly use the Scan Tool on subject vehicles it is important that Monitor Code 14 (PONT 6PFI) be entered. Entering Code 13 (CHEV PFI) will result in erroneous readouts.
