Brake Fluid Pressure Sensor/Switch: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Depressurize accumulator, refer to MAINTENANCE PROCEDURE/DEPRESSURIZING HYDRAULIC ACCUMULATOR procedure.
3. Disconnect pressure switch electrical connector.
4. Remove pressure switch and O-ring using pressure switch socket tool No, J 35804-A or equivalent.
5. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Lubricate new O-ring with clean brake fluid.
b. Torque pressure switch to 17 ft. lbs.
c. Turn ignition switch to On position and ensure BRAKE light goes out within 60 seconds.
d. Reactivate Delco-Loc radios by turning ignition and radio to the On position, then pressing the Mute button on the steering wheel control.
