Water Pump: Service and Repair
Fig. 13 Removing Water Pump:
1.
Disconnect battery ground cable, then drain
cooling system.
2.
Remove alternator, then disconnect radiator and
heater hoses from inlet.
3.
Remove water pump attaching bolts
Fig. 13, then water pump and pulley assembly.
4.
Separate pulley and water pump.
5.
Reverse procedure to install, torquing all bolts/nuts to specifications.
