Wiper Switch: Service and Repair

Fixed Column
1. Remove ignition and dimmer switches as outlined under INSTRUMENT PANELS AND CLUSTERS/IGNITION & DIMMER SWITCHES.
2. Refer to Fig. 15, for wiper switch replacement.

Tilt Column
1. Remove ignition lock as outlined under STEERING SUSPENSION CHASSIS AND BODY COMPONENTS/STEERING/COMPONENT R&R/IGNITION LOCK.
2. Refer to Fig. 16, for wiper switch replacement.

REAR

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove lefthand trim panel, then right side switch trim cover.
3. Remove switch attaching screws, then switch.
4. Reverse procedure to install.
