Hose/Line HVAC: Service and Repair

Compressor/Condenser Hose Assembly - 2.5L (VIN U):

Tool Required:
100-C A/C Refrigerant Recovery and Recycling Station.

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Negative battery cable.
2. Recover refrigerant.
3. Line at accumulator.
4. Line at condenser.
5. Hoist vehicle.
6. Compressor/condenser hose from compressor.
7. Discard all the 0-ring seals.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Compressor/condenser hose at compressor using 0-Ring seals.
2. Lower vehicle.
3. Line at condenser using new 0-Ring seals.
4. Line at accumulator using a new 0-Ring seal.
5. Evacuate and recharge A/C system with 1.02 kg (2.25 lbs.) of R-12.
6. Leak test.
