Overhead Cam Engine Turbocharged

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove intake manifold support brace.
3. Disconnect wire harness clamp at motor mount, then the upper starter to engine block attaching bolt.
4. Raise and support vehicle.
5. On models equipped with automatic transaxle, remove transaxle rear strut.
6. On all models, remove fuel line to support bracket attaching bolt, then loosen fuel lines 1/2 turn to gain access to starter. Place shop towel over fuel line and fitting when disconnecting.
7. Remove rear starter brace attaching bolts, then the rear starter brace.
8. Remove lower starter to engine block attaching bolt.
9. Disconnect starter motor electrical connectors, then remove starter motor.
10. Reverse procedure to install.
