Control Assembly: Service and Repair

Heater Control Mounting:




REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Negative battery cable.
2. Instrument Panel trim plate.
3. Temperature control cable from heater module. (Use a 7mm socket to push the retaining "fingers" on the module arm together to allow for easy release of cable end.)
4. Control assembly - pull control assembly away from the instrument panel.
5. Electrical and vacuum connections.
6. Temperature control cable from heater control.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Temperature control cable to heater control.
2. Electrical and vacuum connections.
3. Control assembly to instrument panel.
4. Temperature control cable to heater module.
5. Instrument Panel trim plate.
6. Negative battery cable.
