CRACKED AND/OR DAMAGED AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL BUTTONS (REPLACE BUTTONS)

Models Affected:
1989-93 GRAND PRIX MODELS

CONDITION:

The air conditioning control buttons may crack or deteriorate.

CAUSE:

Extreme temperatures may cause the buttons to crack or deteriorate over time.

CORRECTION:

A service kit, P/N 16191802, has been released containing replacement buttons. This condition may now be addressed by replacing the buttons instead of replacing the complete control assembly.

A detailed instruction sheet is provided with the service kit for button replacement.

PART AVAILABILITY:

Parts are expected to be available by 6/14/93.
