Cabin Temperature Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair

In-Vehicle Temperature Sensor:





REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

1. Instrument Panel (I/P) trim plate (snaps out).

2. Gain control electrical connector (if equipped).

3. I/P cluster trim plate screws.

4. Electrical connector from cigar lighter.

5. Screws retaining headlamp switch.

6. I/P cluster trim plate after releasing headlamp switch rod.

7. Aspirator tube and electrical connector from sensor.

8. In-vehicle temperature sensor from vehicle.

INSTALL OR CONNECT

1. Electrical connector and aspirator tube after positioning sensor.

2. Screws retaining headlamp switch.

Tighten Screws to 1.9 Nm (17 lb. in.).

3. Retaining screws after positioning I/P cluster trim plate.

Tighten Screws to 1.9 Nm (17 lb. in.).

4. Gain control electrical connector after positioning I/P trim plate.

5. I/P trim plate (snaps in).
