1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove wiper arm assemblies from wiper transmission assembly drive shafts.
3. Remove air inlet screen attaching screws and retainers, then the air inlet screen, Fig. 14.
4. Disconnect wiper motor electrical connector, Fig. 15.
5. Remove three wiper module attaching screws, then the module, Fig. 16.

6. Using puller tool No. J 39232, or equivalent, remove wiper transmission assembly from wiper motor crank arm, Fig. 17.
7. Remove cap from wiper transmission assembly.
8. Remove four wiper transmission assembly to tube attaching screws, Fig. 17.
9. Remove three grommets from tube frame and transmission assembly.
10. Reverse procedure to install.
