Antitheft Relay: Service and Repair

Body Control Module (BCM) And Theft Deterrent Relay:

CAUTION: Refer to Service Precautions.


REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Left instrument panel sound insulator.
2. Theft deterrent relay from the Body Control Module (BCM) mounting bracket by disengaging the retaining tab and sliding the relay off of the bracket.
3. Theft deterrent relay electrical connector from the theft deterrent relay.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Theft deterrent relay electrical connector to the theft deterrent relay.
2. Theft deterrent relay to the BCM mounting bracket by sliding the relay on the bracket with the retaining tab engaged.
3. Left instrument panel sound insulator.
