After Repairs Test

The following procedure may be used as a system check to verify operation of the cruise control system after repairs.
1. With a scan tool, command Stepper Motor Cruise Control (SMCC) to Allow Cruise.
2. Set Park Brake.
3. Start engine.
4. Move Cruise Switch to OFF.
5. Move Cruise Switch to ON and wait at least 3 seconds before doing next step.
6. Push Set/Coast Switch in and hold.
7. Hold Cruise Slider Switch in R/A position.
8. Fully press and hold brake pedal.
9. After 10 seconds, release brake pedal while still holding R/A and Set Switches.
10. Engine RPM should increase momentarily then return to normal.
11. Clear any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).
