Oil Level Sensor: Service and Repair

Oil Level Sensor:

Removal Procedure
1. Raise the vehicle.
2. Drain the engine oil.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the engine oil level sensor.
4. Remove the engine oil level sensor from the oil pan.

Installation Procedure
1. Install the engine oil level sensor into the oil pan. Tighten the sensor to 17-27 Nm (13-2O lb ft).
2. Connect the electrical connector.
3. Lower the vehicle.
4. Add engine oil to correct level.
