Map Light: Service and Repair

Description:

Remove or Disconnect
1. Overhear console reading lamp retainers from the overhead console reading lamp housing using a small flat-bladed tool at the front of the overhead console reading lamp housing.
2. Screws from overhead console reading lamp at housing.
3. Remove overhead console reading lamp housing and lens.
4. Bulb from socket using a small flat-bladed tool.

Install or Connect
1. Align bulb to socket and press in.
2. Overhead console reading lamp housing and lens to lamp.
3. Screws to overhead console reading lamp to housing.

Tighten
^ Screws to 11 N.m (97 lb.in.).

4. Align overhead console read lamp housing tabs to slots in overhead console.
5. Using even pressure press overhead console reading lamp housing into place.
