Brake Fluid Level Sensor/Switch: Description and Operation

The master cylinder is equipped with a fluid level switch located in the side of the master cylinder reservoir. This switch will activate the red "BRAKE" light if a low fluid condition is detected. Once the fluid level is corrected the "BRAKE" light will go out.
