Removal Procedure

1. Disconnect the CMP sensor harness connector at the sensor.

2. Remove the CMP sensor bolt.

3. Remove the CMP sensor.


Installation Procedure

Important: Inspect sensor O-ring for wear, cracks or leakage. Replace if necessary. Lubricate new O-ring with engine oil before installing.

1. Install the CMP sensor.

2. Install the CMP sensor bolt. Install the CMP sensor bolt to 8-12 Nm (5-10 lb in).

3. Connect the sensor harness connector.
