Fastener Tightening Specifications - Cylinder Head
Use the following sequence in order to tighten the cylinder head bolts:
a. Tighten bolt 1 to 63 Nm (46 lb ft).
b. Tighten bolt 2 to 58 Nm (43 lb ft).
c. Tighten bolt 3 to 58 Nm (43 lb ft).
d. Tighten bolt 4 to 63 Nm (46 lb ft).
e. Tighten bolt 5 to 63 Nm (46 lb ft).
f. Tighten bolt 6 to 58 Nm (43 lb ft).
g. Tighten bolt 7 to 58 Nm (43 lb ft).
h. Tighten bolt 8 to 63 Nm (46 lb ft).
i. Tighten bolt 9 to 63 Nm (46 lb ft).
j. Tighten bolt 10 (stud bolt) to 58 Nm (43 lb ft).
k. Use a torque angle meter and tighten all the cylinder head bolts an additional 90° in sequence.
