Identification of Service Fasteners

CAUTION: Before removing or installing any electrical unit, or when a tool or equipment could easily come in contact with "live" or "hot at all times" exposed Self threading fasteners should not be used as replacement fasteners. Service fasteners are recognizable by their color. Service fasteners interior to the transaxle are gold/yellow in color. Service fasteners exterior to the transaxle are a light grey color. Also, service fasteners are approximately 4 mm shorter than self-threading fasteners. Self-threading fasteners are a dark gray/black color.
