Front A/C

1. Operation of the air conditioning blower at any speed with the mode in any position except OFF" and engagement of the compressor clutch would indicate that the electrical circuits are functioning properly. The blower will not operate in any speed with the mode button in the "OFF" position. For "Rear A/C Function Test" compare vehicle response to the normal system response shown in the chart. If the vehicle does not respond correctly during any of these steps, begin diagnosis as noted below:
^ Insufficient heating. Refer to "Insufficient Heating". Insufficient Heating
^ Insufficient cooling. Refer to "Insufficient Cooling". Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures
^ Improper air delivery. Refer to "Improper Air Delivery". Improper Air Delivery
^ Fan (blower motor) does not operate properly (inoperative in one or all speeds, etc.).

2. Operation of the A/C control selector (mode) to distribute air from designated outlets would indicate proper functioning.

3. Perform applicable "A/C Functional Test".
