Evaporator Core: Service and Repair

Blower Case:

Water Core Filter Installation To Evaporator Core:

Evaporator Core Upper Seal:

Evaporator Core Side Seal:

Evaporator Core Lower Seals:

Blower Case Seal Installation Between The Upper And Lower Cases:

Blower Case Outer Seals:

Remove or Disconnect

1. HVAC module case.
2. All outer blower case seals.
3. Air inlet housing.
4. Unclip heater/defrost valve vacuum actuator from blower case.
5. HVAC module upper mounting screws.
6. HVAC module seal that is between the upper and lower cases.
7. Evaporator core.
8. Water core filter.

Install or Connect

1. Water core filter to new evaporator core.
2. New Evaporator core seals to evaporator core.
3. Install a new upper seal to the evaporator core.
4. Install two new lower seals to the evaporator core.
5. Install the HVAC module seal to the lower module case.
6. HVAC module upper mounting screws.

Tighten
^ Screws to 1.5 N.m (13 lb. in.).

7. Clip heater/defrost valve vacuum actuator to blower case.
8. Air inlet housing.

Tighten
^ Screws to 1.5 N.m (13 lb. in.).

9. All outer blower case seals.
10. Blower case.
