Battery Hold Down Retainer Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the following:
1.1. Battery hold-down retainer bolt
1.2. Battery hold-down retainer
1.3. Spacer
2. Clean the LOCKTITE(TM) off of the battery hold-down retainer bolt.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Apply LOCKTITE(TM) P/N 12345382 to the battery hold-down retainer bolt.
2. Install the following:
2.1. Spacer
2.2. Battery hold-down retainer

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2.3. Battery hold-down retainer bolt

Tighten
Tighten the battery hold-down retainer bolt to 12 N.m (106 lb in).
