The Set Position

Depress and release the button switch. The cruise speed will set at the current speed of the vehicle. Cruise speed will be within 0.62 km/h (1 mph) of the vehicle's actual speed when the cruise control was engaged. (NOTE: The driver may no longer set the cruise with the resume button.) The system will cruise at the set speed until the one of the following actions occur:
1. The off/on/resume/accel switch is moved to the OFF position.
2. The Ignition switch is turned off.
3. The set/coast button is fully depressed and held.
4. The brake or the clutch pedal is depressed. When the brake or the clutch pedal is depressed the cruise is released. The resume capability is retained.
