Interface Module Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

TOOLS REQUIRED
J 38778 Door Trim Pad Clip and/or Garnish Trim Clip Remover.

1. Remove the video entertainment system overhead console.
2. Use the J 38778 in order to remove the interface module from the support bracket.
3. Disconnect the interface module electrical connectors from the interface module.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Connect the electrical connectors to the interface module.
2. Using both hands, hold the interface module in a position where the hook and loop retainers are lined up with one another.
3. Secure the hook and loop retainer by working the interface module in a back and forth motion.
4. Install the video entertainment system overhead console.
