Section 8A-51 Body Control Module (BCM) Revised Diagnostic System Check

Models:
1998 Chevrolet Venture
1998 Oldsmobile Silhouette
1998 Pontiac Grand Prix, Trans Sport

This bulletin is being issued to revise step 20 in the Body Control Module (BCM) Diagnostic System Check table on Page 8A-51-9 of the Service Manual. Replace the action in step 20 with the information shown:

1. Leave the test light connected (from step 19).

2. Reinstall the MALL PGM fuse (Grand Prix) or BCM PRGRM fuse (Venture, Trans Sport and Silhouette).

3. Turn the ignition switch to the ACC or RUN position.

4. Observe the test light.
