Oil Pressure Sensor: Service and Repair





REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Service Precautions.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Raise the vehicle.
3. Remove front splash shield.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the Engine Oil Pressure Sensor.
5. Remove the Engine Oil Pressure Sensor.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

1. Install the Engine Oil Pressure Sensor.

Tighten
Tighten the sensor to 17-27 N.m (13-20 lb ft).

2. Connect the electrical connector.
3. Install front splash shield.
4. Lower the vehicle.

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Service Precautions.

5. Connect negative battery cable.
