Mirror Face Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION: When working with any type of glass, use approved safety glasses and gloves to reduce the chance of personal injury.

IMPORTANT: The outside mirrors are stud mounted to the door metal. The mirror face can be replaced without removing the entire mirror. Left side flat and right side convex mirror faces must be replaced with the same type mirror face when serviced.




1. Carefully push the mirror face on one end to gain access to the retainer on the rear side. Carefully pull the mirror face in order to disengage it from the housing.
2. Disengage the plastic clips on the back side of the mirror.
3. Remove the glass from the mirror housing.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the glass on the mirror housing.
2. Push to engage the plastic clips.
