Window Channel Retainer Replacement - Front Door

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the outside mirror.
2. Pull down the door window weatherstrip in order to gain access to the screws.
3. Loosen the front door frame molding screws. Refer to Door Frame Applique Replacement Front.
4. Remove the front door window weatherstrip retainer screw.
5. Remove the front door window weatherstrip retainer from the door.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Position the front door window weatherstrip retainer to the door.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the window weatherstrip retainer screws.

Tighten
Tighten the door window weatherstrip retainer screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

3. Tighten the front door frame molding screws. Refer to Door Frame Applique Replacement - Front.
4. Install the front door window weatherstrip in position.
5. Install the outside mirror.
