Positive Crankcase Ventilation: Service and Repair




REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. While holding down the PCV valve cover, remove the two (2) cover retaining bolts.
2. Remove the PCV valve cover.
3. Remove the PCV valve, spring, and O-ring.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the PCV valve, spring, and O-ring.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Position the PCV valve cover (use a new gasket if necessary) and hand start the two (2) cover retaining bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the 2 cover retaining bolts to 12 N.m (106 lb in).
