Mirror Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the front door upper trim panel.
2. Remove the remote control from the outside rearview mirror remote control bezel (manual only).
3. Remove the door trim panel.
4. Disconnect the power mirror wire harness, if equipped.
5. Remove the front door inner panel mirror insulator (3).
6. Remove the outside rearview mirror nuts (2).
7. Remove the outside rearview mirror (1).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the outside rearview mirror.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the outside rearview mirror nuts (2). Tighten the nuts in the following order:
2.1. Top
2.2. Forward
2.3. Rear

Tighten
Tighten the nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).




3. Install the front door inner panel mirror insulator (3).
4. Connect the power mirror wire harness, if equipped.
5. Install the door trim panel.
6. Install the remote control to the outside rearview mirror remote control bezel (manual only).
7. Install the front door upper trim panel.
