Rear Compartment Lid Lock Cylinder Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Open the rear compartment.
2. Disconnect the rear compartment lock cylinder electrical connector.
3. Drill out the rivet from the rear compartment lock cylinder retainer.
4. Use a small flat-bladed tool to remove the retainer from the rear compartment lock cylinder.
5. Remove the rear compartment lock cylinder and gasket from the rear compartment lid.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the rear compartment lock cylinder and gasket to the rear compartment lid.
2. Install the retainer to the rear compartment lock cylinder.
3. Install a new rivet to the rear compartment lock cylinder retainer.
4. Connect the rear compartment lock cylinder electrical connector.
5. Close the rear compartment.
