Traction Control Switch: Service and Repair

Removal Procedure





1. Open the console storage lid.
2. Ensure the cup holder is in the open position.
3. Remove the front floor console trim plate bolts.





4. Remove the front floor console trim plate.
5. Disconnect the wiring harness from the traction control switch.
6. Remove the traction control switch from the front floor console trim plate.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the traction control switch to the front floor console trim plate.
2. Connect the wiring harness to the traction control switch.





Important: The cup holder must be in the open position in order to install the front floor console trim plate.

3. Install the front floor console trim plate.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

4. Install the front floor console trim plate bolts.
^ Tighten the front floor console trim plate bolts to 2 Nm (14 inch lbs.).
5. Close the console storage lid.
