Automatic A/C System

The dual zone A/C (CJ2) system is designed to provide a comfortable environment inside the passenger compartment, regardless of the weather conditions outside of the vehicle. The system controls the air that enters the passenger compartment by performing the following functions:
^ Cooling
^ Dehumidifying
^ Heating
^ Circulating

The system consists of the following major parts:
^ The refrigeration system
^ The heater system
^ The air distribution system
^ The mode/temperature control system

Most of the characteristics of the refrigeration, heater and air distribution systems are unique to vehicles that are equipped with a dual zone A/C system.
