Automatic Transmission Mount Frame Bracket Replacement
Removal Procedure1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove the left front tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Steering and Suspension.
3. Remove the left engine splash shield. Refer to Body and Frame.
4. Use floor stands to support the transaxle.
5. Remove the transaxle mount frame bracket to the transaxle mount lower nuts. Refer to Automatic Transmission Mount Replacement.
6. Remove the transaxle mount frame bracket nuts.
7. Remove the transaxle mount frame bracket bolts.
8. Remove the transaxle mount frame bracket.
Installation Procedure
1. Position the transaxle mount frame bracket to frame.
2. Install the transaxle mount frame bracket bolts.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
3. Install the transaxle mount frame bracket nuts on the bolts.
^ Tighten the transaxle mount frame bracket bolts to 58 Nm (43 ft. lbs.).
4. Install the transaxle mount frame bracket to the transaxle mount lower nuts. Refer to Automatic Transmission Mount Replacement.
5. Remove the support from the transaxle.
6. Install the left engine splash shield. Refer to Body and Frame.
7. Install the left front tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Steering and Suspension.
8. Lower the vehicle.
