Endgate Locking Rod Bellcrank Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the endgate trim panel. Refer to Endgate Trim Panel Replacement (Endgate Trim Panel Replacement).
2. Remove the endgate water deflector. Refer to Endgate Water Deflector Replacement (Endgate Water Deflector Replacement).
3. Remove the endgate handle rod from the endgate bellcrank.
4. Remove the endgate latch rods from the endgate bellcrank.




5. Remove the bolts from the bellcrank to the endgate.




6. Remove the endgate bellcrank from the endgate.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the bellcrank to the endgate.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the bolts to the bellcrank to the endgate.

Tighten the endgate bellcrank bolts to 10 Nm (89 lb in).




3. Install the endgate latch rods to the bellcrank.
4. Install the endgate latch handle rod to the bellcrank.
5. Install the endgate water deflector. Refer to Endgate Water Deflector Replacement (Endgate Water Deflector Replacement).
6. Install the endgate trim panel. Refer to Endgate Trim Panel Replacement (Endgate Trim Panel Replacement).
