Secondary Air Injection (AIR) Manifold/Pipe Replacement Bank 2

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the Secondary Air Injection (AIR) shut-off valve.
2. Remove the AIR manifold pipe from the exhaust manifold.




3. Remove the AIR shut-off valve pipe adapters from the exhaust manifold.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.




1. Install the AIR shut-off valve pipe adapters to the exhaust manifold.

Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).




2. Install the manifold pipe to the adapters.
3. Install the AIR shut-off valve.
