Power Sunroof Module Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Close the sunroof.
2. Remove the headliner.
3. Disconnect the drain hose connections from the sunroof housing.
4. With an assistant, support the module when removing the bolts in order to prevent the module from falling.
5. Remove the sunroof module bolts (2).
6. Squeeze the nylon fasteners (located at the rear of the module) together and push up to disengage these fasteners.
7. Remove the sunroof module (1).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. With an assistant, position the sunroof module (1) to the roof. Align the locating holes in the front of the module to the locating pins off the roof.
2. Press up at the rear of the module to engage the nylon fasteners.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the sunroof module bolts (2).

Tighten
Tighten the sunroof module bolts to 11 N.m (97 lb in).

4. Connect the drain hose connections to the sunroof housing.
5. Install the headliner.
