UART Serial Data
The UART serial data communications circuit is provided at Pin 9 of the
DLC.
The UART serial data link allows the following modules to communicate and share data with each other:

Driver Information Center
(DIC) ^
Powertrain Control Module
(PCM) ^
Electronic Brake Control Module
(EBCM)The PCM uses class 2 serial data link for diagnostics and testing.
