Split Bench

SEAT BACK RECLINER REPLACEMENT - REAR (SPLIT BENCH)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the rear split bench seat.
2. Remove the outer trim panel from the seat cushions.




3. Move the seat back cover and the pad away in order to expose the seat back recliner bolts.
4. Remove the bolts from the seat back recliner.




5. Remove the recliner from the seat.




6. If required, remove the trim cover from the seat back recliner inner side.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. If required, install the trim cover to the inner side of the seat back recliner.




2. Install the seat back recliner to the seat.




3. Install the bolts to the seat back recliner.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 40 N.m (30 lb ft).

4. Move the cover and the pad over the seat back recliner bolts.
5. Install the outer trim panel to the seat cushions.
6. Install the split bench seat.
