Converter Hanger Assembly Replacement
CONVERTER HANGER ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENTREMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
2. Remove the catalytic converter hanger insulators from the catalytic converter.
3. Remove the catalytic converter hanger bolts.
4. Remove the catalytic converter hanger.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the catalytic converter hanger.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Install the catalytic converter hanger bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the catalytic converter hanger bolts to 35 N.m (26 lb ft).
3. Install the catalytic converter hanger insulators to the catalytic converter.
4. Lower the vehicle.
