Shift Lever Replacement - On Vehicle

Removal Procedure





1. Re-position the sift lever boot out of the way.
2. Remove the retaining screw (2) from the lever.
3. Remove the lever (1).

Installation Procedure





1. Insert the shift lever (1) into the shift lever housing.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the shift lever retaining screw (2).
^ Tighten the shift lever retaining screw to 6.67 Nm (1.5 ft. lbs.).
3. Reposition the shift lever boot.
